New Release - Seabright - April Grass

Image and video hosting by TinyPic Love Our Records presents another release from Seabright’s epic back catalogue. April Grass is one of Seabright’s most out-there tunes, tropically tinged, Hawaiian cocktail sipping music for young and old alike. Trumpets, falsetto vocals, jangly guitars and sweeping synths make up one of the most unlikely tunes we will ever release <3

April Grass is taken from Seabright’s ‘Children of the Sun’ LP ~> http://seabright.bandcamp.com/album/children-of-the-sun

New Release - Valtzy (Honolulu, Hawaii)

image

Love Our Records presents our favourite drum loving Hawaiian, Valtzy.

In his own words … “A tribute to Nujabes and Samurai Champloo. I’ve always loved the guitar and bass parts but I wasn’t too fond of the vocals or the drums on the original, so I cut the vocals out entirely and added deke’s drums into the mix” We love what Valtzy has done with “Shiki no Uta” and whilst its subtlety complicated it gets more satisfying with every listen and gentley warms the brain with every play.

Original song: “Shiki no Uta” by Minmi.

Art taken from Samurai Champloo’s opening Sequence.
